The Innovation Prize for Africa is an initiative that aims to mobilize innovators and entrepreneurs for African market-oriented developments and solutions. IPA was created to support African innovators by unlocking their potential, catalysing the African innovation spirit, and promoting home-grown solutions for Africa’s prosperity. Each year IPA launches a competition to find and celebrate entrepreneurs and innovators that create positive impact.
The PR agency Weber Shandwick approached K&i to collaborate in developing an identity for the 2013 and 2014 campaign. This included establishing new typefaces and colour usage. The campaign identity was extended through advertisements in multiple languages, brochures, banners, posters, infographics and other marketing collateral. K&i also redesigned the look and feel of the website and social media banners, which was rolled out in 2013.
